Co-operative Societies Bill 2026

The major focus of our advocacy efforts in 2026 will be the landmark Co-operative Societies Bill 2026 which aims to provide for the first dedicated co-operative legislation in the history of the State.

Alongside our members and partners in the movement, we will be advocating for this legislation to not only consolidate and modernise the legislation underpinning co-operative enterprises, but create an enabling environment in which both emerging and established co-operatives can thrive.

If you want to lend your voice, or a hand to this once in a generation campaign to lay the foundations for a more inclusive and democratic economy, join our campaign.
